Welcome to LineScore. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use LineScore.
You must be at least 13 years old and able to form a binding agreement. You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Provide accurate information (like your name and handicap) so scoring works fairly.
LineScore is a tool for keeping golf scores and running rounds, leagues, and friendly games among players who know each other. It’s provided for recreational use.
LineScore is a scorekeeping tool only. Games such as skins, Nassau, and dots let you track friendly wagers among your own group as a convenience. LineScore does not process, hold, collect, transfer, or pay out any money, and takes no part in any wager.
Any bet is solely between the players involved. You are responsible for settling amounts among yourselves and for following the laws that apply to you. Don’t use LineScore for any unlawful gambling.
You keep ownership of the scores, messages, and other content you add. You grant LineScore the permission needed to store and display that content to run the app (for example, showing your scores on your community’s leaderboard). You’re responsible for what you post, and we may remove content or accounts that violate these Terms.
Anyone can create a community and becomes its organizer. Organizers manage events and members. If an organizer deletes their account, the community is handed to its longest-standing member so play can continue; if there are no other members, the community is removed.
Course scorecards and locations come from third-party sources and open data and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Please check par and stroke index against the real card before you rely on them.
LineScore is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or that scores and calculations are perfectly accurate. Use your own judgment for anything that matters.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, LineScore and its creators won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any disputes, wagers, or losses arising from your use of the app or from games tracked in it.
You may stop using LineScore and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or end access for accounts that violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms; we’ll change the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use LineScore after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
